Omnoms all the way.

YES!

homebrewk 10-23-11 08:15 PM

So does that mean you're getting Omniums then? :D

Already have a pair, they're up in the air through as I just the other week had them regurgitated from my paddywagon due to impromptu clearance issues. Otherwise my lips are sealed as I'm too tired from today to create any drama here today.

Teaserz...

Nah I was just wondering what members thought.

Should I hit the hay, because I'm just barely functioning mentally due to exhaustion atm?

homebrewk 10-23-11 08:54 PM

I'm going to bed now... tired as **** lol.

Should I buy risers for my Kilo?

I've never ridden with risers, only bullhorns and drops, but I tend to ride like I have risers anyway, as well as the look of having risers has been growing on me as of late. I have been wanting bullhorns again, since I gave this kid on my local forums my 21's since they were too big for me, but haven't found a replacement pair yet.

Sounds like a Yes to me.

PluperfectArson 10-23-11 09:31 PM

Touche.

redpear 10-23-11 09:34 PM

Yes, risers are fun.

PluperfectArson 10-23-11 09:35 PM

I just feel like I will be lacking something with risers, given you really only have one hand position.

I also feel like I might eat **** for some reason.

solbrothers 10-23-11 10:07 PM

you'll be fine. just dont cut them super narrow. that's dumb

redpear 10-23-11 10:12 PM

You kind of have two hand positions. Putting your hands by the stem and bending your elbows can give you a good aero position for a headwind.

homebrewk 10-24-11 08:33 AM

Risers are cool. And like redpear said they almost turn into aerobars in a headwind!

Scrodzilla 10-24-11 09:17 AM

It's good to have more than one set of bars on hand.

seau grateau 10-24-11 09:22 AM

Also you can add bar ends for more hand pozish. It is my chillin/bad weather bar set-up of choice.

Yeah, I'm down to just my drops at the moment.

What's your guys opinion on paul cranks? And if paul cranks were at the right price used; would you jump on them?

hamish5178 10-26-11 09:45 PM

Only if you buy these to go on your valve-stems as well:

Darn, they don't come in presta.

I would buy them if the price was low enough to make a nice profit on flipping them.

I needed that :)

And Leuky: not unless you have an ed hardy kit.

When I got my bike back after it was stolen, the thief put one of these on. Kept it for a good luck charm until I switched to prestas.

GMJ 11-06-11 11:19 PM

Should I build a winter commuter or should I start building a dedicated track bike?

redpear 11-07-11 01:46 AM

How close do you live to a track?

seau grateau 11-07-11 01:48 AM

You could rock Presta adapters and keep them.
