That last one is gold ano. Obviously that only works on aluminum bikes.

I have a couple of textured colors too. Various types of rock- granite, slate, rust(!) and I think there are even some leatherettes.

just got back from the mtb park, where i made the mistake of letting him try it. on the drive home he was driving me nutz about wanting to buy it & made me a crazy high offer

so far i like this bike a lot & have hardly "road" it...

but, a profit is a profit, right?

If he made a high offer right then and there, I would probably sell it, especially if you do not plan to ride it often.

depends on your style... do you wear "nike's" or "adidas" with your "dickies" or "levi's", if so keep the branding, but if you dont typically wear highly branded clothes, then lose them

I like Velocity's decals on the A23s, Aeroheads and Fusions but for some reason the Deep V decals bug me.

I'm usually pro decals but these being just a red & yellow sticker I wasn't sure... and it doesn't hurt to double check a general consensus. Nonetheless I'm leaning toward taking them off as they seem to take away from the final build IMO.

I'd rather pull off my nutsack and throw it across the room than sit on an Arione.

No, you've heard right. The Arione is comfortably to a lot of people, and uncomfortable to a lot of people.

And it is true for every saddle. Everyone's butt is different.

I will tell you that the Arione will likely fit you better if you are more thinner and more flexible, but this is just a trend. There are always exceptions.

thanks redpear i think ill try it out, i am rather light (155lbs @ 5'11") so i think it wont be uncomfortable. does anyone by chance know the difference between the two saddles i linked in my previous post? as far as i can tell they have the same name but just different color styles?

It's really hard to tell, but if there is a difference it'll be in rail material.

I should note that I wasn't referring to weight. By thinner and flexible I meant your sit bones are thinner and you ride more 'tucked.'

I like clean looking wheels, but that is just me.

I loved my Arione, rode on it for two years. Then, I took some time off my bike. When I went back to riding, I just couldn't find a comfortable position on my Arione anymore, ****ing hated it. I switched over to the Toupe and love it.

I've never had a problem with my Arione from day one. I don't know, it looks uncomfortable and I kinda expected to hate it, but I never think about it once I'm on it, which is high praise for a saddle for me.
