ive restrained from doing this for over a year now since im a firm believer of karma but ffs something needs to change. Morale around here is rapidly declining

If you're a believer of karma, understand and embrace how this may be a chance for you to personally deliver it to your boss. After all, it can't come around if it doesn't go around.

Mumonkan 12-16-12 02:53 PM

well there shouldnt be any retaliation, its an anonymous hotline to report **** for people that fear any sort of retaliation

i really should, noone else would say anything anyway since theyre the GM

Scrodzilla 12-16-12 02:56 PM

Sounds to me like you should do it.

Should I get sram omniums and where can I get them for the best price?

Nagrom_ 12-16-12 09:50 PM

In the sig directly above you.

Adrian_ 12-16-12 10:06 PM

I think velomine has them a little cheaper, and you could probably find them even cheaper then that on ebay.

Unimportant, cosmetic "should I": silver stem / post or stick with black?

Silver to match the crank.

+1 don't forget the seatpost clamp.

LesterOfPuppets 12-17-12 11:55 AM

I kinda like the black stem and post up top, then silver across the bottom - hubs and crank.

Silver seatpost binder to match headset might be nice, tho.

Yeah while I debated over black / silver, one of my thoughts was to leave it as is, then just get the silver binder to match the headset.

Thanks, y'all.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'm sure there's something else you can spend your money on. Or y'know, save your money or something

justfitme 12-17-12 01:47 PM

if clamp is not enough then silver bar tape will do the rest.
But i like as it is.

I generally agree with this. However, if I were to make such changes, I would just look to do a straight trade. Not get some new ones.

Anyways... looks like I may be sticking to black for now, except for the collar.

In that case, go for whatever you want man!

Should I build up an All City Mr. Pink with SRAM Force slowly over the winter, or buy complete with 105 next week?

Want to go SRAM, don't know if I have the patience/money to build it up slow and right.

Nagrom_ 12-18-12 10:35 AM

Force.

What can you get it for?

ddeadserious 12-18-12 10:47 AM

For groupsets, eBay is right around QBP cost, so I'd probably just buy from Ebay. I can get the frameset for half the cost of the complete bike, I just know how fast building a bike adds up and if I build it, the only way I'll be able to is by buying all the best parts. It'll end up being more expensive than my Tarmac easily.

Thing is, I haven't even ridden my bike for over a month now, and having a new road bike probably isn't going to change my lack of desire to ride in cold weather, so building over the winter really won't affect my riding one way or the other since I have my 722 should I feel like riding.

Nagrom_ 12-18-12 10:48 AM

We're in the same boat.

Sounds like you should build.

ddeadserious 12-18-12 10:51 AM

I gotta think, man. Tough choices and ****.

Mumonkan 12-18-12 11:30 AM

build.

im in the same boat and i realized that even if i did get a new roadie suddenly i wouldnt be able to do the big rides i want anyway, so i decided to build it up over the "winter" and go ape**** when it gets nice out

sure itl cost more in the end, but youre only spending a couple hundred at a time

Get the 105 bike complete, and be happy you don't have SRAM wiped all over you bike.

Nobody likes a snitch.

Buddy legitimately called out his boss to superiors, got called out on the carpet for it. Boss quit, position is open for promotion, but he has no chance now.

Anonymous whistleblower line is tempting, though, as long as you are super-positive it won't come back to you.
