Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

ouch. i shattered my cheekbone biking as well about a year ago and got a pretty bad concussion even though i was wearing a helmet. it totally sucks. try not to sneeze, cuz from experience it is super painful. and also, if you smoke, that hurts as well.
hope you feel better soon man.

Thanks dude! Actually, it's funny you mention smoking, cause i've been meaning to quit, and since this accident, I havent smoked in 5 days! haha. Sneezing is not painful for me. I finally am starting to feel "conscious". I feel like i've been in a fog the past few days. Im finally off the oxycodone, havent had it in two days. So i'm slowly getting back to my normal self.

Unrelatedly, I am now selling Phantom-style face masks. Now accepting orders.

Correct. Chicks dig scars, man. Hidden or not. Like retelling stories at the VFW about nam, or Korea.

decceleration trauma. It's not bombing the hill that will hurt you, it's the sudden stop when you stick your foot into the front spokes.

Glad your not hurt worse.

If only my cheek-bitten-by-a-dog didn't look so much like a wrinkle:

Than again, @ 11 years old, it has had plenty of time to heal... As well it didn't go through. But sadly, no chick magnet.

You can only expect a scar to do so much.
