No soda and I'm not *actually* gaining wait. More like I lost muscle and and am phenomenally bored riding the train to work. I'm thinking, spastic dancing on the train.
Seriously, though, not drinking soda is an awesome thing. I can't believe how much people consume.
Bonus question: what do you feed your cat? Dry food? Wet? Mix? Homemade somethingorather?

My vote goes for spastic dancing on the train. Also - walking is much better exercise than it gets credit for. If it doesn't mess with your leg too much, go for some long walks. You may want to ask in Carleton's thread too.
Our cats are pampered. They get organic dry food daily, homemade goodies a few times a week and drink purified water from a fountain. They'll probably outlive me.

Anyway, I spend more money each week on locally roasted coffee and bread from the bakery than I do on cat food.

The wrong kind of dry food (think 9 Lives and all that Supermarket-bought crap) is bad for cats if that's their only source of nourishment. When you spend a little extra to buy grain-free food that is made with grade A meat (not byproducts), it's a slightly different story.
I'm sorry, I'm thinking about cats again...

Do you have any dry food brand recommendations? We feed our cats Purina(buy the 40lb bags) I believe, but that's just because that's what my mom was feeding them before I took them and it's affordable. I'd love to feed them healthier though, especially if it could lengthen their lifespan.
I feed our fat cat Fancy Feast every other day. We tried a bunch of different healthier wet foods from Petco, but he either didn't seem to care for it, or I couldn't stand the smell. Our skinny cat always throws up the wet food when he eats it, so he doesn't get any(despite him stealing the other cats when we're not looking).

Purina and walmart/generic superstore brands are usually ****. Try at a local pet shop and ask around, grain free is usually a lot higher quality for dogs and cats.

The stuff we buy comes in small batches from a local holistic pet center but Blue Buffalo (available at PetSmart stores) and Innova are good options:

Considering the excellent diet treatment you give your cats, none of them look particularly happy. Are they happy cats?

Yeah...they're super happy! They just like to ham it up for the camera. Syd really doesn't like the sounds Angie's cameras make so he always looks pissed in close ups.

Haha nice. My cat often refuses to look at the camera when I attempt to photograph him and usually looks just as pissed off as Syd. He's really the friendliest cat ever.

Look for AAFCO-approved food, and avoid grain and dairy as much as possible. Science Diet and most store brand food is crap. If you do feed your cat dry food, make sure they have plenty of water.
Itty Kitty was abused before we got her and has the cat version of Crohn's Disease. We've got her on a diet of Fancy Feast turkey, salmon, and tuna, plus Friskies original Party Mix. Anything else gives her diarrhea.

She will beat the crap out of your cat.

What happens when you have a really stubborn stuck pin, I literally have been wiggling it for a good 5 minutes, normally i can fix a stiff link 3-5 seconds. This miche chain is a pain.
