I don't remember ever seeing that. Is it way out west? It's great. That grill has to weigh 100 lbs.

The tow truck reminded me of Tow Mater.

40 mile ride today out to the end of a key and back. My buddy is fast as hell and pushes me to get stronger so I think this may have been the fastest distance ride I've ever done, we averaged about 21mph.

Y'all are hard as **** though. It's 50F here now and I'd hate to go out and ride. I prefer sweltering heat in every way, makes you feel alive.

So true, As they are fond of saying in England: "If we had to wait for nice weather to ride, we would never get to ride"

so true, my ex's grandmother was a very smart lady, and she told me basically the same thing once and it always stuck with me:

"if you wait for the weather to cooperate, youll never go outside"

ive since grown to appreciate the different things about what each kind of weather brings to riding

I was wondering why my chain was skipping on my ride yesterday, and looked at the chain at the end.

I snapped mine "mtn biking" on the CAAD.

Put on a sram chain while I waited for my new quick link. Pretty sure it has over 5K mi now and still works perfect, even with two quick links.

I just ordered a KMC 710 nickel plated. Seeing how the gold wore on that chain makes me glad I didn't buy the gold.

Look at the way the heads of the pins wore down. No offense to MM but I have to wonder if whomever maintains that bike shouldn't have seen it coming. Gotta look at stuff once in a while.

You got off easy. Had that happen to a buddy during a ride, on the other side of the link. He found out when he shifted to his big ring and he locked up after bending the life out of his FD and hanger.

I'll take your word for it.

It's just that the heads of the pins and the outsides of the plates look pretty worn down in the first photo you posted.
