Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

just missed the storm on my way home from work, made for some pretty metal scenery

like this metal as **** bunny that appeared in the mist along the trail like the lead singer of some facemelting thrashmetal band

and this path that used to be path but is now water reflecting a metal ass sky

i really need to find more roads like this, ones where i can just chill for miles

lookout point @ palisades park, so many metal ass hawks cruisin around hangin out with me

bike dissapeared a bunch of times under me today, thats my favorite part of riding, when its just your mind floating through the scenery making little comments and notations to yourself in your head admiring the **** out of the world

my fav part about riding is when ur redlined as **** and really hurting but u realize eveyrone else is too and when the pain goes away because you get excited because you know you can win or at least podium

or when ur out on a long solo ride not drilling it but not going easy and you're just motoring and feelign strong and really in touch with your body. doing work, B1tch I go to work!

also when you are going slow enough to not notice your body and become hyper aware of the world around you and its beatiful outside like Mumonkon said. also mountain biking.

also its fun when ur faded with your friends and cruising home winding through quiet neighborhood streets at the end of the night

also

From this morning's fixed metric.

... I need to do more morning rides.

Been a while since I've gone out and done a long one.

Thanks!

I took a trip to Washington last year, and EVERYTHING is green out there. Pretty amazing.

Also: wednesday morning intervals with the club. It was a little wet/dirty (my socks were white when I left in the morning).
