I've had a number of problems with strava either misrecording map data, or just not recording data at all.
pretty frustrating. not sure if the issue is with my phone or not. anyone else have problems on their 3GS?
edit: I'd actually be interested to know if anybody has had problems with their 4/4S as well.

Pretty good luck here as well. I've had a couple of rides where my elevation data got dropped, so I did all this climbing and the elevation chart was like a pool table afterwards
Also poor GPS action in the trees or downtown among the buildings.
I gotta get a second battery to do be able to run it daily, biggest bummer for me. If I do an hour - 90 minute ride in the morning, leave all my email apps running, make a couple of calls then my phone is dead by 4.
Droid 2 Global.

pretty well. I was listening to music, using google maps and strava all at the same time and got home at about 30% battery (having not charged it the night before) from about three hours. probably would make it through a 5ish+ hours if you didn't use google maps to look for where you're going

Joined the group. I'll run it on my Evo and see how it goes. Phones already a battery pig, so some of the longer rides might kill the phone quickly.
I've been using mapmyride.com; mapmyrun.com because it has the manual input with google maps. I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that this does too, somewhere?

I know that the average speed measurement is pretty accurate, since that can be calculated just knowing how far you went and how long it took, but how accurate is the max speed measurement? I've just started using Strava and it gave me a max speed reading of 36.5 MPH on flat ground on my commute, which just seems too fast to me. Particularly because at 42/17 that is a cadence of something like 190 RPM. But I've never used a computer or speedometer before, so I guess that could be right.

Probably a GPS error. You'd probably remember hitting 190 rpm

I had an awesome GPS error the other day. It put me in Sturgeon lake for a minute.
