The Hour has a great reputation, but its cousins are pretty good, too.

Here's mine, a dead-stock 56cm TimeLine. Yes, I know the seat is pretty much slammed, but so far, so good. I may raise it slightly, but I've been able to ride it about 30 miles at a shot like this:

Better, non-cell phone pictures later.

Impressions so far: Very light, very fast, climbs well (based on a couple of trips over the Brooklyn and Williamsburg bridges). Stock brakes are excellent. Stock tires have been very good so far - good blend of comfort and low rolling resistance. The stock pedals are... interesting. A bit tedious to get into, though it's much easier now that I've ridden the bike more than three or four miles - I've gotten used to that quirk. Still, if only as a safety-I-don't-want-to-be-distracted-at-a-bad-moment issue, I'll be replacing those.

I haven't flipped the wheel and added a track cog yet. I'll get to that, at some point, but the bike is a fun ride, as is.

That seat post looks slammed. Any pictures of you riding the beast?

It is not quite all the way down, and I am going to raise it a bit. Ride pics soon. But, odd as it looks, it's comfortable.

If it's comfortable, the bike may be too big for you. But that's just speculation.

True. A Windsor is no Motobecane by any stretch.

Just got a Clockwork a week ago. Ordered some parts already. It came with pretty heavy gearing so I ordered a new cog.

Nice bike, enjoy it. I hope you got a new lock ring as well, the stock ones aren't high quality.

Pics soon (real camera needed), but I raised the seat about an inch and a half - much better. Swapped the stock pedals for platforms - the stock ones are, well, they are what they are. Maybe I should have stuck with them, but they were irritating to get into and out of; not a distraction I needed. When I flip the wheel and run fixed, I'll switch back to something with retention.
