Yeah man, you want to meet me at my place early and we can ride over there and get some sushi before the ride?

Unless everyone wants to get sushi before the ride. In which case we can meet at the Peace Pagoda then gang-lock our ish and head to the sushi boat...

**********Hellyer Update**********

Mark, the instructor for tomorrow's session, is going to call me tomorrow morning in the event that the track will be open, he lives in SF so he'll call me before he leaves, leaving us enough time to drive down there as well. If you want me to give you a call if the track is open tomorrow, message me your phone number and I'll call you after he calls me. I will have space in my car for two other people, but no bikes.

If we end up going down, I'll post about it in this thread. If the track is closed then we can all meet up at the Peace Pagoda in J-town @ 10:30 and ride a bit then maybe hit a bar or two...

Yeah, I am not going to be there regardless.

Heading back to North Dakota to visit/regroup tomorrow.

I'll have to build up some snow berms in my parent's front yard and pretend it's a drome.

Damn, I was all ready to go then I get the "but I thought we're going to get the bunkbed for the kids" even though Hellyer's been on the family calendar for 3 weeks. Trumped again. Have fun and report back. Bring a digicam if you can.

We had a good time. A nice 40 lap warm-up, then break-aways, scratch, and three man pursuit racing.

Took these while waiting for the track to dry:

Fixedpip, me and a few other random people who showed up. The rental bikes were nice, pip got a nice old school raleigh track, someone else got a walker with a wishbone rear-end.

The CA state sprint champ showed up and rode with us.

I'm sorry I didn't go, but I'm glad you did.

40 laps is only 8 miles, I wasn't that tired after the session.

Darian's walker is sitting in my garage waiting for me to build it

It's in south san jose, you can rent bikes there, and the cost is: $5 parking, $5 bike rental, $5 track usage. 8:30am to ~noon beginners sessions...
