Njs steel frames ?
bianchi super pista?
cinelli ? etc ?
I understand what you're trying to say, but that's if I was running a Mavic IO front and a comete rear with a look carbon frame.

I fail to see what's the big deal. It's just a bike and it's his bike.

Nagrom_ 02-15-13 02:12 PM

It's just ridiculous.

hairnet 02-15-13 02:14 PM

It is but I can't say this the first time I have heard of it or seen it.

Neither can I. I just feel like some things should stay where they're meant to be.

That can't even be comfortable in the least.

CyclingDaily 02-15-13 02:24 PM

First time on this forum, and I've already had a bad experience.
But oh well, I'm going to keep riding my "TRACK ONLY" bicycle, you can criticize.

linus 02-15-13 02:24 PM

My co-worker rides his T3 everyday to work. He even uses zipp disk wheels now and then....

Nothing wrong with that.

Nagrom_ 02-15-13 02:27 PM

Other than being ridiculous, yeah, nothing wrong with that.

You tell me what's not a ridiculous track bike then.

Anything that isn't an actual track bike.

caloso 02-15-13 02:37 PM

Shimano 520 pedals and Giro Privateer mtb shoes. This is my CX setup. Good, reasonable cost options.

Yes because you telling other people how they should ride THEIR bikes isn't ridiculous.

Would you take your road bike downhill mountain biking?

Good! Solider on!

only cause I agree with you

Street rider 02-15-13 06:26 PM

The downhill-roadie analogy is really funny. Now I want to see someone do that, really badly. I can only imagine how many flats would happen, and how ****ed the bike would be in general.

Scrodzilla 02-15-13 06:58 PM

Not downhill, but...
