It looks like a smaller front wheel was used, maybe 26”, such that the distance from the fork crown to the rim is too great to use a front brake.

I don't want to sound like a gatekeeper but... That cable routing routing looks like it would not work at work as well as just using zip ties.

Just wanted to post my Softride, too. It's a Traveler touring with a ton of upgrades. There's nothing jackass about it. Except maybe the guy who rides it.
