Props! I went looking for some hills today at wound up climbing ~2000'; now I know I didn't suffer nearly enough...

Portland's worst day of the year ride was cancelled due to having bad weather so I got a good 15 miles in the snow. Never realized how much more of a workout it is when pushing through powder.
|
I only got about 4 miles in today. 10 miles yesterday.
Had the shop open both days. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7307/1...718201d2_b.jpg |
Finished a 65 hour work week, exhausted, but now have funds for fancy bike parts

Office/ engineering is located here. As a result of recent events, if they interview you, be sure to say "safety is your #1 concern" for extra points. |

i like seasons, just not the ones nyc has. 74F year round sounds nice but id get bored
Also brisk 45F morning commutes are nice; especially when you live in a mountainous area where any valleys/ insets act as cold sinks to support the aforementioned temp. |

Portland is the jam, one hour to the mountain or one hour to the beach. Only bad part is the people and rain.
