Today I started research because I'm joining the fantasy baseball league at work. So. Many. Numbers.

I have always liked the look of a stainless cap on carbon steel. When you see them in the field after they have aged, the contrasting color of the brownish oxidized base and the still shiny cap make it look like a cool scar of some sort.

Back in the day we used a 780 stick to make the cap.

Did I have a stroke and not know it? The last several posts don't make any sense at all. What happened?

hahahaha.

Today I decided to show my face around here, again. It's been a weird start to the year and my bike time and motivation for bike-related things was at an all-time low. Bouncing back, though.

Hi, everyone.

Nagrom_ 02-20-14 01:28 PM

I have an eating disorder. Lol.

seau grateau 02-20-14 03:07 PM

No, you're just fat.

Nagrom_ 02-20-14 03:35 PM

Thanks doc. I actually don't eat much. That's the issue.

Today I started the day with my car, but finished it with a borrowed pickup that is my father's. Damn car broke down yet again.

Funny, I has mine apart this weekend (put up a new keg of Modus Hoperandi, yum), and I decided to change the lines. Holy crap, it's amazing the forms of life can live in those things.

And today, less than a mile from my house, I took a nail straight through a brand new Conti gator skin. Fug.

You need to move away from that hellhole you live in.

Are you too poor to afford another car that is reliable ?

No, getting it repaired then going to start seriously looking for a new car, that and I needed to get back to work.

Haven't been on the bike in forever, with all the snow piled on the sides of the road it is way to dangerous to ride on the streets in this area. Trying to even drive has been crazy.

Today I dropped all the things at work. Never felt so clumsy. Off to the gym now, I'll probably drop a dumbbell on my foot.

Don't live in the city. Rent across the bay is easily half the cost for twice the space. Takes about an hour and 10 bucks round trip to ride BART from any end to any end.

The SF Bay is pretty damn big, but it is very connected.

lgp927 02-20-14 10:45 PM

I ran all my errands on my bike, rode for about 5 hours cause it was a beautiful day

yeah i wouldnt want to live in the city, its more than it costs where i live now. plus i like the transition from burbs to the city anyway on my commuting

i like sf as a whole and i like how there are a lot of really different parts to it in a pretty small area
