Yes, that's right. I bought drop bars for my budget bike. Fortunately that can always go on my next not-so-budget bike :thumb:

Today I head to San Diego for work, but they have me so flipping busy over the course of the next two days, I'm not even sure if I can sneak away to do some fun stuff. :(

That's a bummer, there's a good alleycat happening on Friday. If you do end up sneaking away, be sure to swing by the shop!

Bought some black bar tape last night and it looked good, until I got it home and realized its charcoal.

Oh well, close enough.

I think im gonna go for another rain ride. So much fun getting muddy. Those knobs are amazing. I've never ridden quality MTB stuff, this is great.

Will do...thought I could go out tonight, but they have go carting and dinner planned - apparently they feel I should bond with my fellow employees. grumble, grumble.

Should be hammering rain with 20mph winds on Friday/Sat FYI.

I'm planning the maiden voyage for the Gran Turismo on Saturday. I kinda want it to be nasty out.

1. Go-karts are not bumper cars. Or so I have been yelled at.
2. Go-karts are way fun to drift. And if you have never drifted, closed course is a fun time to figure out how.

Today I developed a ridiculous hate towards arduino. Why can't I figure this out.

Today I really want to get a s-works stumpjumper after trolling the local S shop owner about a test ride with his most expensive MTB and to my shock, actually letting me test ride it.
First thing I did was jump off the curb with it (not being "that guy"; he encouraged me do it as part of his sales pitch); solid.

Perhaps a bait and hook? It'll take a whole lot for me to hand over my cash to big S nonetheless.

Remedy or Trance over stumpjumper.

I rode another 38 miles, that's 3 times this week headwinds sucked 12 to 15 mph but just kept pushing , I'm taking a day off tomorrow
