You mean when the sun goes down and it gets 10 degrees cooler outside?

Today I sold that bike of my ex's! Yay. Also sold one window A/C unit, a nice folding/extension ladder, and a shop vac. Oh and earlier this week sold my old hybrid. Just need to sell a lawnmower and a couple more window A/C units tomorrow (new place has central air).

Tonight I checked my bank account online and discovered a bunch of fraudulent charges to my checkcard. This is the third time this has happened in the last 5 years. Had to cancel checkcard, file claim, and go to bank tomorrow to get temporary card until permanent new card arrives in mail. Then I have to update all accounts that auto charge that card and probably transfer more funds into the account to cover auto payments until my SS check gets deposited. Ain't the electronic banking age wonderful !

Uh, better that getting physically robbed...

Still sucks though. It's happened to me too.

So, have you been mugged ? Never happend to me, but did to a good friend who was pretty traumatized by it.

Anyway, I think it's inevitable that sooner or later your card number gets stolen, no matter how careful you are. My card is never out of my possession, and I rarely use it for online purchases, which are normally by PayPal. So either it got stolen when I swiped it somewhere or some processing center got hacked.

That's why I make sure to spend all my money before a thief can have access to it

Money that you carry in cash or money in your bank account ? I rarely have over $100 cash in my wallet.

johnnytheboy 04-18-14 08:58 PM

can't get into much trouble with only $100 in your wallet....

Nagrom_ 04-19-14 09:59 AM

I'd rather just not die.

Guess I'm weird.

Midnight century was good but we had to cut out 20 miles to get home because my neck was killing me. I need a bigger bike.

Yeah, I'm weird like that too. I'm also over 2/3rds a century old, or in the metric system 0.678 century-years.

Is it a possibility for you to save up for a custom frame? Seems like that would be a good way to go for you, right?

Mumonkan 04-19-14 10:50 AM

living; so overrated.

Lmfaoooo these metric jokes kill me

LesterOfPuppets 04-19-14 12:35 PM

I think we should adopt semi-metric time. Days would still be 24 hours, but make hours 100 minutes and minutes 100 seconds.

Hmmm, maybe full metric time would work...
