I was on the market for a LONG 9 months! I'm bringing a little money to the table, but not much (I'm not underwater, but not quite making enough to cover all the closing costs and realtor commissions). I like homeownership but not this particular house - it's too big, and mostly the neighborhood just isn't right for me.

But for now I'll just be a renter, and just put an application in for an apartment today. Fingers crossed!

Today I did a 2hr tempo ride on the road and then went to madison practice, which was over an hour of riding (warmup, 2 mock madisons). I did the tempo ride because I figured the practice would be low-intensity, and more about getting the mechanics of the exchange down. Boy was I wrong.

After a few "practice laps" (in between the warmup and madisons), they threw me right in there with the experienced madison riders doing laps at high speed! I'm freakin' tired as hell right now.

EDIT: But not as tired as harinet! Nice ride harnet! Epic! I like cycling, but I'm not interested in spending 12hours on a bike lol. Badass.
