WTF? Was that Ralph Laurenzo bean dip? Five bucks? :p

The good stuff is worth a couple extra bucks. I just make my own.

I make my own too, that's why I don't understand buying it for five bucks, or even two bucks. Making it from scratch is about as difficult as stirring soup.

No, it was all natural, no preservatives, no additives, gluten free Desert Pepper Trading Co. spicy black bean dip. Not some crappy watery chemical laden cheap dip like Pace makes. Also, it was a large 16 oz jar.

I can't believe you guys are busting his balls about a $5 jar of bean dip.....

Be aware, they are rock hard. I have been using one and it feels just like my B17 in shape, but it is so hard I can only see it taking years to break in. That's not necessarily a bad thing, it just feels like I'm sitting on a plastic saddle rather than a leather one.

I'm fine with rock hard, the puch is only for cruising around and light rides.

First MTB ride on the specialized, OTB because I went over a step I didn't see, panicked a little, clipped a fence with my bar, and proceeded to flip in the air. I have a lot to learn.

Took a sweet picture for instagram tho

I have actually considered trying a light application of something like neatsfoot oil to soften it a tiny bit. My Brooks is also very hard but it has the right amount of give to be really comfortable. Anyway, just passing on some info.

Heh, I've always been against softening agents for my saddle.

So, today I finally bit the bullet and ordered a new refrigerator at Home depot to replace my 20+ y/o Amana that is still working, but is getting really loud and making all kinds of nasty hissing, cracking and popping sounds. It also runs a lot uses a lot of power. I really hate replacing it, because it's built like a tank and is a lot more sturdy that modern refrigerators. This year has been costly for my home maintenance, and the new fridge takes me past the $10K mark, but at least it should be a lot less for the next 10 years.
