Calculated that I have 450 pages of reading to be done before Tuesday. College is kicking into full swing, I guess?

Pain is realizing you could have gotten a Kilo TT for the same of money you spent on your Origin8. Further pain is not having $150

What do you people do for ride nutrition?

I don't feel like buying clif bars or stuff of that nature because $$. Do any of you have recipes that are good?

Get your rice cooker out, hand made tacky rice cakes w/ eggs and your choice of meat and etc proportioned in a bar size wrapped with saran wrap...

i find most clif bars dry out my throat and mouth making me drink more water which isnt always easily accessible, my main squeeze is homeade larabars

equal parts:

dates
nut of choice
dried fruit of choice

food processor till it sticks together, flatten between wax paper and cut into bars

i also like to make balls of things:
Ripped Recipes - Peanut Butter and Chocolate Protein Balls
Traditional Christmas Treat: Peanut Butter Balls - Two Twenty One
Buns In My Oven » Goat Cheese Bacon Balls
also an easy one is foodprocessing dried apricots like the larabars till it clumps up, make a ball and roll them in shredded coconut

other shaped foods:
Almond Chai Breakfast Clusters (grain-free) | Daily Bites | Healthy Gluten-Free + Dairy-Free Recipes
Chewy Fruit & Nut Bars | Williams-Sonoma Taste

most of those require no cooking

what @Leukybear said is also awesome, try with purple sticky rice, bacon, peanutbutter and eggs, puts a smile on my face every time i chow down

you may have noticed i love food.

These are great. Cliff bars and such are good but the deliciousness of these rice cakes gives such a mood boost. Not to mention that if feels infinitely better to eat real food during a century or longer after downing cliff bars all day.

This doesn't surprise me as the Post is nothing more than a shi##y tabloid. Some of the worst opinionated, one sided writing I have ever witnessed comes from that "newspaper".

OK, I thought the other two Post articles I've read about the incident were simply written by imbecilic liars but after reading this one it seems to me like they're just trolling for links, clicks and engagement.

seau grateau 09-28-14 03:43 PM

I'd rather spray Lysol in my eyes than read anything that comes from the New York Post.
