I got my new (to me) fixie 95% assembled. All I have to do is add bar tape.

Pretty sure whole functional bike minus bartape is around 99%.

I wish I could stay through the CX nats that would be awesome. I cannot wait till I have enough cash for my dream SSFG CX Bike and I can go out and get muddy.

I'd ride it

I finished the bar tape and took my new fixie for a ride today. Sweet! I believe this is the beginning of a great relationship.

Today I booked flights and hotel for the wife and I to stay in Jersey City. Gonna spend the time between xmas and new years with the in-laws. Since we live on the west coast, that's not as horrible as it sounds. Distance really has helped in that regard. Anyhow, the reason I bring this all up is I'd love the opportunity to ride in NYC. Does anyone know of a spot that rents fixed gear bikes? I can't see me needing a bike for more than several hours or so (a day-rate would also be fine).

I really need to learn how to pace myself. Completely blew up at the end of a 60 mile ride with only 2500 ft climbing

The bike worked well on the test ride today. I can't wait to ride it to work tomorrow. I hope the former owner likes how it came out.

I have several rides planned for it next season including the City-to-Shore and Fixed Gear Fondo.

(Saturday) Rode 24 miles. In December, in South Dakota. Crazy weather. Dear Lord was my bike dirty when I got home. Also, shoe covers FTW.

This rules so hard. Now I just feel lazy for slapping some Dura Ace decals on my kid's bike.

Today I had to stop an idiot from killing us all with the acetylene cutting torch. You have only been doing this for a year by now
