Mumonkan seriously, I need to start getting my stuff rolling if that is the case. I need to pack up all my stuff, sublet my apartment, figure out logistics and apartment (already scoped a few out).

I have three interviews in the Bay Area in January. Finally got them all scheduled for the same week, so i can fly out, and make them all.

Mumonkan 12-18-14 02:59 PM

AristoNYC would sublet, but poor.

id be more concerned with getting the essentials moved out there at first and maybe ship the rest to you via parental units or what have you

grats also thewilson

everyones getting jobs, next year i gotta make a lot of changes and a job is one of them, followed by a new living scenario

Unkle Rico 12-18-14 03:31 PM

I guess i'll hop on interview bandwagon as well -- I've got one tomorrow with GoPro :thumb:

thewilson 12-18-14 03:34 PM

Yeah! Unkle Rico and @T13

Yeah @Mumonkan get on the new job train. My new jerb is going to allow for a **** ton more riding.

iTripped 12-18-14 04:06 PM

well hopefully congrats are in order on the new job! Moving on short notice is always super stressful, hopefully you have someone on the East Coast that can help you make the transition (ie. take care of some of your things temporarily, etc.)

New year, fresh start. Sounds pretty awesome to me.

Huffandstuff 12-18-14 05:00 PM

I feel your pain AristolNYC, I had three days to move from Phoenix, AZ to Portland, OR. Luckily I was staying at a friends and had friends up in Portland I could couch surf with till I got a place.

Good luck.

Got a wicked MTB ride planned for tomorrow. Hopefully it doesn't rain too much.

Marin/Sausalito. It rained. A lot.

Muffin Man 12-19-14 08:35 PM

went on a mtb ride with Morgan, Did about a quarter of what we planned because it was raining pretty hard, pretty windy, and I have the worst luck with bikes. I snapped my chain twice, my little chainring was giving me chain suck, and my rd cable completely undid itself somehow. Still fun tho

I aggravated/re-injured the lower back problem that I developed over the summer in the gym, with months of training symptom-free. I did it by riding with a loaded pack for my 3hr ride yesterday from my apt to my parent's house. I'm so pissed, right in the middle of a training block and feeling great on the bike.

At least the symptoms aren't nearly as as when it initially developed. I'm hoping that a few easy days, maybe a week tops of resting and recovery should do the trick.

Made the 40 mile round trip to have breakfast with my motorcycle friends. The first long trip on the bike and it felt great. At 28°F the pond was still frozen.

Work two and a half days this week, then only two days next week, hopefully I can get some actual day time riding in.

It my birthday and I got my white seat from Kontact. It is the same as the E3 Form I have on my geared bike. I love the E3.

Nagrom_ 12-23-14 12:51 AM

Got an extra paycheck as a Christmas bonus. Job is cool.

AristoNYC 12-23-14 10:13 AM

Had a 5 hour tattoo sitting, need to finish my leg in case I leave for San Diego.
