That's an east coast-style torta. Out here they don't usually have cheese on them.

Still, burritos > tortas > tacos.

I applied for my AA in German at the community college. I got denied. Apparently I need one more physical education class and I get my German AA. That sounds strange.

I'm graduating in May with my BS in international business... I might just take a p.e. class at the community college next semester just so I can get that AA that I've been wanting for years.

And who uses condoms?

Yeah here in the midwest, fat people get a little upset if there's no cheese, and mountains of sour cream on their food.

Not in LA. No shortage at all. Even OC has some good ones.

Major shortage, Zero. Real Mexican is pretty much non existent too. There are some nice "Artsy" Mexican restaurants here. They are clean and serve good food. But it isn't what I grew up on in OC, so I mostly cook at home. Sushi aint real here either. There just something wrong with being served sushi by a white dude.

Yeah the "artsy" Mexican thing is real popular here right now too. Its kinda weird. But everything in Cleveland basically revolves around fads, and soon die out. LA always had good, cheap taco trucks, that anyone could walk up to and find something familiar and inexpensive. In Cleveland, The first food trucks were gentrified, and expensive. It's like they first serve the hipster/yuppie(people who call Coca Cola in the glass bottle a "Mexicoke") type crowd, while "regular" people are an afterthought. Then the food truck fad will die(here), and they will be gone. Just like Martini Bars. And the dodo bird.

I will say that in Chicago, that chef Rick Bayliss' restaurant called Frontera is pretty good for a guero.

Try living in Portland, it's nothing but white people Mexican food, some of them are pretty amazing but nothing compared to proper grease bomb burritos.

Did my laundry, cleaned my bike in the bath tub because it was looooong overdue! And of course had to scrub the bathroom afterwards. Blah. Went to the bike shop bought a few things, mainly a tire for the rear wheel. Swapped out the tire and now Im drinking beer! Cheers!

Today I... tried not to overhear the meeting at work where a manager had to tell a very weird coworker that his excessive, nonstop flatulence was a problem. It was one of the few times I've felt truly bad for an authority figure at work - it can't be at all enjoyable lecturing someone on why constantly farting at work is an issue, and that the next time it comes up it'll be documented and sent to the higher ups at corporate.

That's preety gross but it sounds effed up if the person can't help it. I don't know what the employee does in that situation. Stop eating eggs and lentils?
