Same here.

It honestly looks like normal use/wear and tear to me.

So much for full disclosure huh?
Maybe it's just me then. I would consider those "defects" to be par for the course when the words "General use and wear" were used to describe the paint. I'd expect scratches. The seller also said that the lugs had no rust, and Sherlock describes the failing touch up paint to reveal metal, not rust. So...IMO the ad accurately described the bike. Scratches, but not rust.

Sherlock should do what he's comfortable doing, not what I'd do.

Today I upgraded the OS on my phone (OnePlus One, to OxygenOS) and kind of regret it. The whole thing works but I miss some of the little customizations that came with Cyanogen. Gonna go ride my bike instead of thinking about it more.

Yesterday I spent a little time in front of a lathe with a rod of 6061 T6. @hairnet, your seat post is finished.

Today it's off to the powder coater along with the stem, rims, and other assorted goodies.

The Alabama Shakes put on a good show last night, but the show was oversold and crowded as hell making it a lot less fun. Tonight's show is at a venue I've never been to before...hoping things go better tonight.

I had never heard that Alabama Shakes band, and almost as quick as I began hearing them, I became sick of them. Not bad music, but like everything else, over saturation, especially of the "hits", ala Hootie and the Blowfish....

Coachella is a breeding ground for ear herpes.....

We did Coachella once and it was alright, but as I get older I'm just not into festivals as much (I say this as I gear up for Austin Psych Fest - half excited/half dreading it). Coachella is just too big and most of the bands I want to see are $12 shows at a small bar here in Phoenix. Which is why I say Coachella is great, because all of the smaller bands I dig are coming to Phoenix before, after, and between Coachella weekends, so I see almost everyone I wanted to anyway, for dirt cheap and only a mile or two from home.

I don't mind the Alabama Shakes and had never seen them live, so it seemed like a good opportunity. I'm not a huge fan by any means but they did a pretty great job on stage last night and they never played "Hold On", I'm guessing in part to try to get away from the "One Hit Wonder" title. They don't seem to be too overplayed here, however, I hardly ever listen to the radio or satellite so I'm kind of in my own little world when it comes to music. Of course, if you're in Cleveland, you're probably already over saturated in bluesy rock from The Black Keys, so I'd imagine anything in the same style would get a heavier rotation. From my time being in Michigan, I remember tons of blues rock, and tons of local bands trying to do blues rock as well.

A few years ago i went to Chaos In Tejas in Austin, and it was pretty good. Pentagram played a really good show at that. And while wandering around, ended up in a bar that Roky Erickson was playing an acoustic set.
