Without writing an essay, it's mainly because most automotive jobs are commission so it brings out the worst in people especially when things get slow.

I think a majority of it is -- I know that you can opt for different buckles and accessories which means you gotta wait for them to make the changes. At least my friend had to wait a few days when he picked up his MW bag.

Spicy???

When I was a small kid on a vacation to Michigan we stumbled across a small town Mom & Pop Ice Cream Parlor that had many unique and oddball flavors. I decided to try the Dill Pickle and got a two scoop cone. It was exactly, precisely, 100% perfectly dill pickle flavored. The accuracy of the recipe was amazing. After two or three licks the novelty began to wear thing. After eating one third of the top scoop I was turning green myself and had to toss it. I got a big fat I-TOLD-YA-SO from my Dad.

Yeah, spicy and refreshing, like when you get chilli powder over your fruit at a fruit stand. It's a Latino place with all sorts of fresh fruit pops as well as cream pops and ice cream

Bikes: road, track, mtb

I took a pretty hard spill this morning, 40-45mph, flying down Balboa Ave.

I'm a lucky man - no breaks or head injury. Lots of road rash, both arms and legs, and a heavily bruised left hip/glute - thankfully it was not fractured. My (training) bike is fairly damaged, and I did get to ride in an ambulance, although I was totally coherent and calm when I spoke to the paramedics. It (going to the hospital) just felt like the right thing to do.

Tough break for me - right as I felt ready to train after ~2.5 weeks mostly off due to a back injury, this happens. When it rains it pours. Also, the mtb that I had planned on purchasing with tax return money is going to co-pays and bike components.

I'm not entirely sure how it happened; I was flying down the hill and changing lanes when I lost control of the front wheel. I may have hit a pothole or merely skimmed the edge of those little reflector things at a wrong angle. Regardless, I remember NOT looking forward when I lost control, but looking over my left shoulder at traffic... lesson learned there: Look at the road when you have lateral momentum.

Sorry to hear! Maybe it was a little bit sand or dirt? I once went down at speed because a little bit of road grit cause the bike to wash out from under me with no warning.

Dang. 30mph on my bike feels almost scary fast. I can't imagine 40+.

Oh no, not the purple one?

Glad to hear you're okay, though. I can't imagine going down like that on a big street, hopefully there weren't too many cars around. Sounds like you'll be hurting for the next couple days, but I'm sure it's nothing you can't handle!

Were you riding by yourself or did people pull over for you? Glad you are okay and nothing seems broken.
