Right. I knew that -- Just making sure you were up to speed on the conversation.

The conversations started because you told Aristo that he hadn't seen SF Marina girls after he praised the attractiveness of girls in NYC. I haven't ever been in Sweden or Denmark or Norway except for the Copenhagen airport but I can tell you that the girls in Helsinki we tall and blond but pretty average.

The only thing about California girls is that 1 out of 10 of them are actually from Cali. Most of them are transplants.
SoCal Mexican girls are special, though...... |
^That def isn't true at all.

It's a wonder why more women don't frequent this forum.

Got annoyed at the (lack of) finish on the sides of the spider arms on my Sugino RD2's so I took some fairly fine sandpaper and got to work. Less than an hour later all the rough grind marks were gone and they now have a nice, smooth, semi-polished finish. They look so much better. I'm gonna polish them properly as soon as I have a reason to take the arms off.

Today I took the Kilo out for the Ride of Silence. Had all kinds riding, old fat guys on touring bikes, racers in full kit, chicks on cruisers, kids on hardtails. Even had a skinhead looking dude on a fatbike, looked up the logo on his jacket and it turned out to be some black metal band. The heartbreaker was a couple wearing matching tees commemorating someone named Dustin, looked like it must have been their kid.

 I don't know about that but either way I get strange looks from people when I tell them that I was born here in LA, as if only the Latinos are locals
Haha yeah same here. I was one of only a few gueros in my neighborhood(Venice) growing up. We had more in my high school(Venice High), but they came from other areas like Marina Del Rey and Santa Monica, which actually used to be a nice, workingclass area. Slayer are all from Huntington Park....FYI haha |

Did the same yesterday. Same type of people. Local guy brought out his Penny Farthing though so that was pretty cool. He always rides up front near the ghost bike that is towed in by a pedal powered trailer hauler. Everything from Wal-Mart Schwinn to Cervelo S5's, fat bikes, kids bikes, fixed gear, cross bikes, touring, old junkers with rattling metal fenders......and the kits. Some of these people looked like they were getting ready for the TDF. It was a 7 mile ride, you need your full kit for that? I was in jeans and a t-shirt, and jeans are not comfortable to ride in at all. It was a sea of high viz green, and I stuck out like a store thumb in a black t-shirt. I don't do the whole high viz green thing, not a single thing I own or wear or put on my bike. I just refuse to do it. I run blinkers, and most of my stuff is reflective in some way but not in high viz green.

Today I stuffed a 32 front and rear on my mask speciale, slammed that stem with risers, and proceeded to ride around on my cloud like tires

Just setup a time to go look at a Lynskey this weekend. Always wanted a titanium bike and the deal is almost too good to be true (still expensive as ****, but worth it for that bike). I already have too many bikes but don't want to sell any... N+1 is a terrible disease.
|
Agreed. N+1 is even worse with cars  So awesome about the Lynskey! I hope it works out..!

Today I paid someone to spruce up my resume and linkedin profile. During the transaction all I could think about was that I could have bought a mission workshop bag instead :crash:
