Yes, born here. My father was a Brit, my mum Panamanian. The company I was working for, asked to move to the US. been living there for 20 odd years now. I have strong ties to three countries and yet have become a sort of become a "man with no country." But consider myself very lucky to have experienced what I have and met the people I have (even on line).

Today I got yelled at by some people in an SUV who thought I should have been on the sidewalk. Never mind the fact that there was plenty of room to get around me on an inordinately wide two lane residential street.
Just about the same, rode back to the house after riding with the wife and child to the playground, got buzzed and horn blared by some twaut in a fast and furious car.
Horn was almost as annoying as his mosquito sounding muffler!

It's sort of funny, I was moving at about 25 mph in the 25 mph zone which means they had to slow down to keep pace with me (they certainly were not going 25) so they could scold me for riding on a road I can legally ride on.
What's funny is that I drive a car with a not so quiet exhaust, so I can't really complain about noisy cars. I'm betting it was some sort of Honda with a fart can that you encountered.

I cannot understand this crap. All I can think when this happens is, "Really? I'm really ruining your day by simply existing and not even impeding you in any way. Ok. WTF."
" fart can "
It Actualy was a well machined car. The act was what stuck me as over the top, followed by the annoying high pitched whine of both horn and FART CAN !
In a housing area, kids playing close.
No Christmas cheer !

Today I walked away unscathed after slamming into a Honda CRV that blindly pulled out in front of me in an alley. I managed to stop the bike, unclip, do an epic barrel roll over his hood with only my shoulder hitting his SUV and I landed on my feet. I walked away from that. Hardly any damage to my bike, just some slight damage to the bar tape. His hood on the other hand....... old boy here isn't a lightweight.

That sounds like you should have considered a career as a stuntman. I'm betting this was amazing to witness. It's better that you came out more or less unscathed.

i find this strategy gets them away from me quickly, as theyre dumbfounded why i dont understand their frustration
i do that all the time as im waiting for lights too
i love watching people absolutely lose their **** in their cars like they think anyone outside of their little cage even knows theyre screaming and making agressive hand motions

I haven't had that issue. Other than getting the "you know that's a bike, right?" while waiting to cross at a traffic light. I said, you've got a keen eye for the obvious.

Today I took photos for a company of their new bike kit that just came out. Can't post em yet, but they'll be sick. I also met Scrodzilla for the first time. Retrogression really is a great shop, Dave and the crew are really awesome.
I also bought some new tires, that look super sick on my bike! Woo!

jtbadge - lust!
Picked these up this morning for <$90 off CL. I didn't have a f/S rear hub for the Langster. I think these will work great!
