Thanks! I already tried getting in with a local Chevron refinery but I didn't get the job. I'm gonna shoot for the DWP then Iron Workers union or Steamfitters union next.

This mountain bike is going to be a project, I had a big crash a while back and haven't ridden it since. I need to purchase a 9 speed shifter, true the rotors, replace the bent and cracked brake levers, find a 11-36t cassette although I have a 11-32t ready to go. Tires aren't holding air so I'm thinking of making some homebrew sealant because Stans doesn't last very long.

Well I'm curious about doing the homebrew thing. Looks like my rear tire is leaking too.

Nagrom_ 12-21-15 08:44 AM

I can put off replacing that hot water heater until next year, right? Car tires will last a few more months, right?

What is the purpose of a hot water heater?

Nagrom_ 12-21-15 01:22 PM

It heats hot water.

It provides one less thing for the females in my house to complain about.

If the water is already hot, it really does sound redundant!!!

Kindaslow 12-21-15 02:51 PM

Today I am looking at the ski slope at Whistler from the condo we rented. The wife and two of our boys are out skiing, something my knees will not put up with. But, tomorrow and Wednesday I will be fat biking!!!

Like going from 12,000 to 11,999 is a noticeable difference. If only they knew we really are not listening....

For a second there I thought you were expecting prize money...

Huffandstuff 12-21-15 07:02 PM

Had a nice welcome home gift, don't think I'll ever get pasela again.

It's like they're made out of ****ing erasers or something.

I tried the black sidewall Pasela and the rubber doesn't seem to be getting brittle like the tan ones do.

If you are talking about Tservs then yeah, I agree with you. I just wanted to try gumballs to give a bit of class to my sw8 fixay whip.

hairnet 12-21-15 10:41 PM

No, Paselas are also available with black rubber sidewalls.

Mumonkan 12-21-15 11:54 PM

i must have had the best luck with paselas ever. they were the most flat resistant and long lasting tire ive ever used. i had literally noone of the problems that everyone complains about and i had 3 pairs, two of which are still rideable
