Always loved those sparkly logos on Suzue hubs.

Went up to Mt. Tam with a friend I haven't seen in a long time today. I only need 64 more km to finish Festive 500, and I have a 140 mile ride planned for the 31st.

Also, I visited the Rapha cycle club in SF today, and got a new gilet. The reflective stripes were falling off mine, so when I asked if they did repairs, they just told me to pick any gilet out, and I could replace it for free. No more pink, but at least this one shouldn't fall apart anymore. The four barrel coffee they serve there is also really really good.

Slid out a big jump the other day and am really feeling it. Whole left side is bruised.

I think I need body armor.

Bid on a used white Flite saddle. I really don't need it but I couldn't help myself.

I have an older gopro so not sure I can help much but still, what seems to be the issue?

essentially my mac is an old piece of ****, so it doesnt recognize it when plugged in. if i try to copy files to my phone over the gopro "wifi" it takes forever/fails

the only way ive gotten it to work reliably is to put it into a card reader and take the files off of there, which really is just an extra step creating first world problems but its still annoying

I've lusted after one since I was like 9. I have zero complaints about my Concor but nostalgia made me click the button.

My 2008 iMac would do the same thing with newer XC SD cards. The fix was a USB card reader adapter.

Went to Lowes to get just 2 nuts and bolts to hold my old English lever on my Rudge Clubman build. Beat the rain and thunder back home. Sit down to cobble the lever and handle bar together and discover that ONE of the bolts is missing from the package. It was there when I looked at it in the store! A tiny slit in the side allowed it to fly out as I walked to the register I guess. Not in the sales bag or my messenger bag.

Rain now for the rest of the day and I don't feel like going out in the wash cycle again!

Some days

Ahh yeah, I always take the card out of the gopro and plug it into a sd card adapter thing.

I also hardly ever use my gopro for video anymore, usually just set it up to take a photo every 10 seconds or so.

My experience with GoPro wifi is exactly the same - frustrating in that wifi settings in the iPhone have to be accessed every time and copying files via GoPro wifi is useless, gets part way through a file or two and then fails. I use the wifi in the field to preview the shot or to make sure the camera is working before I start the ride and that's it. Got a USB 3.0 card reader from Best Buy and plugging it into a USB hub which I have attached to my desk for all my other gadgets.

Youtube really has me frustrated though. I uploaded the exact same 1080p file four times and each time it played back at a different resolution with no option within the player to increase to a higher resolution. Youtube has me frustrated enough to consider a paid Vimeo account. The video in the link below was recorded at 1080p/60fps/medium width, edited in GroPro Studio and exported/uploaded to Vimeo at 720p. Here is the mount...

ok at least im not alone. i have this dope little thing for years, thats what im using as a "card reader", works perfectly fine in that respect so ill keep on using that method

after today i pretty much established that the wifi is good for just framing, uploading anything to the phone except photos (even that is dodgy) is worthless

re:youtube

it takes a while for youtube to process the high quality video, so it gives you crap quality at first so you can at least see it, then upgrades when its done processing
but i do know that other people have been plagued with this problem on a "whenever the **** it wants" frequency

This is exactly why I do photos if I ever use mine. No one wants to your watch your commute. However, there is usually a pretty cool photo on occasion.

I've not used it on my bike. I bought it for work and used it occasionally. I'll agree with your statement, though.

If we're being honest, most of my videos have been garbage. This is why they have not seen the light of day.
