Yeah, I'm stoked. They were dug up professionally too so the transplant shouldn't cause too much trauma to the roots and whatnot. My yard instantly looks like a tropical oasis.
The two biggest Queen Palms are about 10 feet tall.

sounds like it hurts. gj!
september i will begin the quest for moar faster.
power meter, trainer, and coach shopping when i get back from bikepacking in august. ill train my balls off all winter, then take racing more seriouser in '17.
ultra endurance events(1-400mi single efforts) and wilderness racing (3-500mi bikepacking stuff) TD is off the table as of now
ps: get your bike back yet? one of those wilderness races is gonna be stagecoach 400 which is in your hood, we should play bike cycles.
Did a 5x5' VO2 max workout this morning at Fiesta Island. Typically I would aim for ~112% (320w atm), but I was feeling ambitious so I did "Tmonk's progressive VO2 max challenge"
1: 315w
2: 320w
3: 325w
4: 330w
5: 340w! Really felt like I was unleashing the hounds over the last half of this one.
Nice!
DISLCAIMER: Typically I reserve these types of posts for the 33, but there are increasing numbers of you that are interested in training with power so I thought I'd post here. Plus I just feel really good about it

. PM me when your event is closer, I'll ride mtb with ya and check out your event. That's very impressive. I'm sure you're bigger than me (I'm 150-155lbs), but from an absolute perspective those numbers are huge. You'd whop my ass in a 1v1 drag race, and I consider myself a sprinter with only a 1300w max. Fortunately for me, there is much more to sprinting in a race scenario than raw watts.
I could power it for 4 hours.
It is a lot from a repeatable power perspective, but I'll bet that my true 5' CP (max) is north of 360w.
