the only thing i hate worse than tabasco is hot sauce that is hot just to be hot, and taste is secondary

(not sayin that colon cleaner is, ive never tried)

Last night I made a maple syrup, sriracha, soy sauce, sesame seed, and honey marinade 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend
and the night before I made honey, lime, sorry sauce, cilantro, red pepper flakes, and garlic marinade also 10/10

ya know since everyone is talking about sauces.

Bingo! All for show. I like stuff I can actually slather on and not suffer at 3:00 AM. I dig hot and spicy food, but not the stupid stuff.

Alright!!!!!!!!!! This is weird. I consider myself a food freak. I love cooking and eating crazy stuff. One of my favorite things to do it to (try to) invent new dishes. I fail miserably all the time. But once in a while I nail something. Anyway, I am an avocado addict and I love balsamic, but the idea of combining them like that never struck me. I'm trying it ASAP.

Put my rapha stuff up for sale, hope I can finish those transactions so I can get a ride with ringtail vest from the cubhouse when I go to LA in 2 weeks.

Something packable and well fitting would be cool.

Coincidentally my daughter just sent me this photo. She is making hot sauce. This is a typical Panamanian hot sauce. Palm wine and Habaneros (some still with the seeds).
It has very good flavor and is not very acidic (like vinegar) but to me, it is so hot that it is nearly toxic. I can't use but a few drops, but i been called old and weak before :).

franswa 03-17-16 09:49 PM

Nagrom_ 03-17-16 10:03 PM

Vinegar and soy sauce on everything.

I got into a car accident on the bay bridge this morning.

That sucked a lot.

Did you get rear ended in traffic?

Nope, single car accident, my fault. I dozed off.

Pretty scary.

Nagrom_ 03-18-16 02:43 PM

Luckily I was in the left most lane and drifted left, put it into the curb next to the rail.

No body damage, but something was definitely bent. Control arms, steering rack and suspension probably.

A motorcycle chp led me off at Harrison. I could only go about 10mph. Had it towed from downtown to my house and I walked to work.

Pretty ****ty morning.

Oof that sucks!
**** like that happens when you least expect it and think it'd never happen to you.

Reminds me of the time the sqrl tried to gas through a U-turn in a residential street and hit the curb in her old car.

Today I decided to build up a ridiculous fixed 29er MTB... anyone got a line on a small All City JYD frameset? Either that, or I'm gonna wait for this: http://www.allcitycycles.com/bikes/log_lady

seau grateau 03-18-16 03:36 PM

Tried avocado with balsamic yesterday. Meh.

TejanoTrackie 03-18-16 04:20 PM

Today I used duct tape to patch a dozen 1" holes in the plastic bed cover on my pickup truck that were caused by yesterday's severe hailstorm. Several cars parked outside had cracked windshields, although I was fortunate that my car and truck escaped damage. Lots of tree damage, too.

Mumonkan 03-18-16 04:44 PM

i started dozing off behind the wheel one time coming back from my friends house in delaware. middle of the night, flying along at like 90 and i fell into one of those microsleeps and jolted back out of it when i was crossing over into the shoulder

after that i rolled all the windows down (it was december) and put screaming metal on the radio at full volume

seau grateau 03-18-16 04:50 PM

If you're gonna die, die loud.
