Didn't pick the trainer up until 5pm this evening.

Was outside 2 miles into a ride when it happened.

Good dirt ride this morning, it's pretty great to have single track in the park right behind my apartment. I even found a little Downhill track and F me for trying to ride it :lol: After the rain the air is clean and crisp and the dirt is smooth and grippy - feels good, man.

today i'm recovering from the built to spill show last night...so rad.

Just bought tickets to James Murphy's DJ set in Dallas next week. That was a lucky coincidence...

Today I put in a hilly 40 miles on the road and an hour on the trainer. Finally found a good use for bontrager tires. They make for a good trainer tire.

yeah...it was the perfect spot...i was yelling at Doug all night.
they opened with my favorite song by them "going against your mind"....
they covered "orion" by metallica, "don't fear the reaper" by boc and "how soon is now" by the smiths....so great.
i have a love/hate relationship with being that close to stage...i love to be that up close and personal, but the sound is kinda terrible....

got sram rival on my rove, instead of the campy to shimano stuff. campy to shimano works great until the cable stretches and it was getting to be a "every few days" readjust kind of thing. not fun. rival is great. i'm happy.

I signed on to the site, I'm also exited about a build I currently have under way, 56cm light weight 63 Schwinn Racer, waiting on more parts to come in, just need my tires to show up Tuesday.

Sounds like a helluva set.

I was a "taper" in college, so I always tend to gravitate to the front of the soundboard. I never really get to see all of the action, but it always sounds great.

Got my zenith stem in today and put it on, had to re use old bar tape till tomorrow its beat up and torn with tape in a few places but oh well

Rode my SS with its updated/lowered/diminished fitness ratio of 49x18 on a 36 mile moderately hilly route. Sad to say, I'm glad I went lower.

sounds like the same set they played here in Chicago. i was rather farther away though.
