Bikes: 3 Rollfasts, 3 Schwinns, a Shelby and a Higgins Flightliner in a pear tree!
Today I added a Pioneer CT-F1250 cassette deck to all of the parts I rounded up online I need to finish Rosa, my new 60s Rollfast. While the first par of that's OT, I am hopefully going to complete THAT collection AND finish my other two bikes over the summer. Feels pretty good!

It is funny people occasionally come by the shop wanting to buy an entirely new wheelset because they very rarely if ever go mountain biking and don't want to swap tires. They would rather buy a cheap-o wheelset so they don't have since they likely already have a similar wheelset so they aren't upgrading.
These Nokians are such a pain that I picked up a cheap used front wheel (it was $10 or $20, can't remember) so I could just leave those tires mounted and swap front wheels with the seasons. I do the tire switcheroo on the rear because I've got a flip-flop hub set up with 16T and 18T cogs. I might be a season change away from picking up a spare rear wheel as well.

For tires that are a real bear to get on and off, I don't blame them!

Pro Tip: Don't try to build two bikes after getting only 5 hours of sleep and then driving 5 and a half hours to LA. Evo Hi-mod rear cable routing with moto braking is the ****ing worst. My rear brake locks up whenever I turn right, but not left. I have no idea what's going on anymore.

Have you checked your cable housing length? It sounds like it's too short.

I actually suspect its too long. The housing enters on the driveside of the headtube, so I cut the housing so that I can turn the handlebars all the way to the left. When I turn right, it all bunches up and somehow pulls cable.

Today I scored a like new park tool stand for cheap on the craigslist. Guess I need to make an effort to figure out how the **** bikes work.

600 equipped Centurion for $120 not too shabby. There is a dude near me who collects and overhauls them and sells some of them. Does a really good job almost like new. There was some guy selling a 600 equipped Bianchi but the thing is stolen or the guy collects old bikes and is getting rid of a lot of them for pretty cheap and I am not taking that risk even for $250.

Today one of my customers is getting hit with ransomware virus.
The latest version out there is named MSIL/Samas. It encrypts network files so they can't be accessed, locks up workstations and demands 1.7 bitcoin ransom per PC. Seems to spreading pretty fast this week.
Fun days we live in.
