Switched from a 16t to a 18t cog, down to 67gi from 75gi, I'll see how I like it. Also ordered some cycling shoes, step 1 for going clipless I have enough $ left in my Paypal to get a 17deg 80mm stem, very tempting

today i almost confronted a cyclist during my commute. he sprinted between me and another cyclist with no warning and basically no room to do so. he had one of those obnoxiously loud freewheel hubs which i think are required use by dickbags.

i had it all planned out what i was gonna say when i caught up with him (which i did cause he wasn't all that fast, just reckless). "hey dickface, it's hard enough dodging cars trying to kill me all day. it'd be nice to not go down because of a fellow cyclist. stop riding like an ass."

but i wussed out. but THEN several blocks later i see him blocking a taxi in the middle of the street having words. i hate it when people say "bad cyclists make us look bad" because a lot of "bad" cyclist behavior either isn't that bad or is in the interest of self preservation, but... this guy was definitely making us all look bad. sigh.

Thanks
Condition is pretty good. He is selling it because he can't stay in good enough shape to ride SS off road.

Put together my new leader 725 complete. Was alot easier than I expected it to be, but the frame came with a paint chip :[ I guess it'll get chipped with normal wear and tear anyways so meh. I did find a screw inside the box that doesnt seem to go anywhere, i've checked the bike up and down so hopefully it doesnt fall apart when i take it for a ride.

Finally got my hands on another full frame camera body; lightly used mkIII from Canada. My L glass is going to feel useful again!
Only problem is, the seller chose to ship via UPS; customs brokerage fees on receivers end FMLLLLL.

Today (well, last night) an avid cyclist got killed in a hit from behind, hit and run scenario in my town. Just sucks. Believe me I had fresh batteries in my blinkie light tonight, and when someone beeped at us, we maintained middle finger discipline.

Finally replaced the stock head unit in my truck.

Then took apart Trampoline. Highly don't recommend doing that.

Corner of Vermont and Richmond. Dude turned left into him. After he got pitched, the driver made eye contact and drove off. What an *******. Luckily he's ok, hopefully the bike turns out to be too. He hasn't checked it out fully yet, but it was a sweet old Alan frame converted to SS.

Cleared a bunch of downed trees on the in-town singletrack. Some asshat is cutting down trees to intentionally block the trail. I felt pretty rad riding around town with a bow saw strapped to my handlebars and cutting up a bunch of tree trunks.
