Now I know a lot of u on this forum are skeptical about State's bikes but a free bike is better than no bike amirite u guise?

Yes a free bike is way better than no bike. Congrats!

Congrats! I won a free bike at a raffle a couple weeks ago at a local bike shop. Is low end but considering I was out for 8 months with an injury/financially broke, I won't complain ha.
Today I did 25 miles.

Today I literally rode my bike hard and put it away wet. 48 miles with some rain at the end. Monsoon season is upon us in Phoenix.

Nagrom_ 07-21-13 12:44 PM

Put the first century down on the caad yesterday.

hairnet 07-21-13 01:29 PM

Today I wish it were raining (curse you lazy overcast clouds) because I have been dealing with hoards of demanding tourists wanting to rent bikes. The wave is over and I need a cup of coffee and a cigarette.

Got in 67mi on a gravel grinder race last night...it started at 8pm. Finished a tad after midnight.
Got home around 3 this morning...slept awhile and then did 33mi on the cervelo.
Puts me at 593 for the month....gonna have to hustle, but still might get in 1,000mi for July.

Some dude was ready to throw punches at me and the other two guys at the shop over his misunderstanding of credit card pre-authorizations. PEOPLE MAN, WHY!?

Sweet looking kit cc!

Today I was spent some quality time with the sqrl in Marin and stumbled on and had to visit a random older LBS.
When the owner asked what interested me and I replied any vintage stuff you got laying around; he walks into the back and pulls out a NOS OG flite complete in pristine box. Had to have it!

Yup. I'm right by the SM pier. Squirrels, squirrels everywhere.

EpicSchwinn 07-22-13 12:48 AM

Today on the carbontreker I polished lugs, rode my bike, and switched the bars and stem.

Today on the Raleigh, I changed a tube, serviced the front hub, repacked the cleaned bearings and races, took a few pics of it, and put it up for sale on craigslist.

Today I am having a really irritating Monday and want to go back to bed and pretend work isn't a thing I have to do.

How are so many people able to survive even though they are so, so stupid?

Because as a society we coddle them and allow them to.

Day 1 of juice fast. Hungry as hell. Also withdrawing from caffeine. Ugh.
