My calves look so much more defined when they've been shorn.
I got killer calves.

Today I did 30 miles on the karate monkey. Rigid mtbing is tiring!

sinikl 07-23-13 09:59 PM

29 miles today, spread out between 4 commuting and a longer ride with breaks. still, beats my typical. sitting here still sweaty, but happy. need to do this every day but can't get motivated/no ride partners at night, when i'm not working/having a 3 year old. feels good tho.

Today I remembered that thing about frying grilled cheese sandwiches in mustard. Did it up with some raw cheddar and brie. All I gotta say is damn.

hairnet 07-24-13 12:46 AM

What is the quesadilla equivalent?

seau grateau 07-24-13 01:14 AM

.....A quesadilla?

Put some havarti and a little chocolate syrup on your next grilled cheese

USAA is the best. It's better if you are/were in the military or have immediate family who are military (some features are limited to "members"), but I think anyone can get their basic checking. No ATM fees, pay you back for the fees other banks charge, they process deposits before withdrawals, and generally are the best.

Hurt my back yesterday at work and have been riding the kilo which has a pretty good amount of saddle to bar drop, definitely not my most enjoyable times.

They may be posting the largest payment first in order to maximize the number of overdraft occurrences:

I've been meaning to look into banking with a smaller credit union. My mom gets the tellers at her credit union to do all sorts of crazy favors for her small business' account.

I'm fairly certain I shave more often than my gf. At the very least, we're 1:1. The difference is her hair is very thin, light, and soft. Mine is like guitar wire poking out of my skin.

TMonk 07-24-13 12:59 PM

Today I meandered over to a Facebook page "Fixed Gear NYC". One of the first posts:

What would be the best setup to look like i'm an experienced rider? Do i have to not use brakes?

Gotta start somewhere, I guess.
EDIT: should I just tell him to shave his legs?

TMonk 07-24-13 02:20 PM

funny story, as the limit of your cycling/fg experience tends towards infinity, you are more likely to use a brake.

its kind of like a bell curve (on average):

total noob: brakes (otherwise you'd die)
novice/cool kids: no brakes
seasoned rider: brakes
