But, as Scrod just said, life goes on.
Today I delivered some sandwiches because as said above, it still goes on. The sun came up today, and the cloudy weather we had yesterday disappeared. So I hopped on my fixed gear and rode. I listened to some electronic music, not sure what, something on a Pandora station. And I rode. I made some good money today. Good tips. Had a smile on my face. Ears were happy. Legs were happy, and most of all, I was happy. I am not into politics so I don't discuss them much. Whatever will happen will do just that, it will happen.

My family blew up last night. Started arguing via text. I stayed out of it and finally just shut off my phone. There was about 50 texts and ten voice mails queued up when I turned it back on.
Today I started pricing out a potential Log Lady build. LBS has had a Large frameset in stock for months.
So much this.
So much this.
still gotta wait a couple years tho.
in related news: im currently waiting in LAX for 2 hrs, so i can get on a 50min flight to vegas.
ps: if you tune into cbs this weekend you might see me jumping off a cliff or generally running around the desert in short shorts

Never thought it would happen, but after riding only my road bike for a few months, today I(my legs) forgot I couldn't coast and ended up doing a sweet front-flip. Didn't quite stick the landing though. I'd say I got pretty lucky going home with only a tweaked seat/stem and a little cut on my head. It all happened so fast; I just got up, put my lights back on, adjusted my seat and road home with crooked handlebars and blood trickling down my head. Luckily, I didn't get a concussion and don't need stitches.

Off day today, ez 1 hr mtb birthday ride tomorrow . My bday is on Veteran's day.
I took a half day at work, so I'm going to sleep in, go for an easy ride, do some chores and just relax before putting in a mellow afternoon at work.
Should log 8 hrs over the weekend, with the SDBC ride on Sat and a team ride Sunday.

Isn't it amazing!! The sun set last night. The sun came up today, the tax bill came for my truck, I cooked sausages for breakfast and my kid needs help with math homework. Simply amazing.

The president really can't do much except start a war. Its the local politicians who can make life hell.
They can rezone the woods across the street from your house and then you have a Walmart in your front yard or decide to start enforcing noise ordinances or create some new law about what kind of engine your lawnmower can have.

I know I was definitely worried that the outcome of the presidential election would dramatically influence to movement of celestial bodies, so thank god the sun really did continue to rise and set. Close one there.
