Today I (v2):
Oof. I went to work today. Mistakes were made. Feel like I have been hit by a train. Left early and won't be going in Wednesday. Sitting on the computer with my little dog in my lap trying to have a snack so I can take a Motrin to calm this throbbing headache down. No appetite so nothing sounds good. Cold one minute, roasting hot the next. When I do hit the bed in a little bit, I am gonna be all up in that bish under the covers.

Yesterday I rode my Little Wing for the first time. Today I rode it again. It's pretty comfortable. It's not as harsh as my aluminium Fuji, though definitely not as smooth as my Surly. The geometry is weird. It feels really tall compared to my other three bikes (540mm ST vs 500-520 ST on the other three), but it's the same general length from bum to bars. My other bikes range from 535mm on my BMC (510mm ST) to 547mm on my Surly (520mm ST) It feels great to ride, though. I don't feel too cramped or stretched out.
More importantly, though, it was the first I've ridden at all since January. And, the first I've ridden without pain since November.

Botanical restocked tho.
Would definitely ride the black and spearmint one.
That's one of the best things about my LBS here in Portland (Velo Cult). Ended up taking my rollers there to ride them a bunch in the winter, nothing better than motivating yourself with a fresh pint waiting at the bar a few feet away.

Yeah, nothing like getting boozed up before a workout.
I ordered some Phil stainless steel bottom bracket cups and received (more expensive) aluminum ones. Score.
Also, don't ever try to dial in chainline if you have any sort of time constraint.

Indeed. Today I mourn the death of Ask Scrod. I learned a huge amount of what I know about bikes--in terms of both factual knowledge and bike appreciation--via Scrod's tireless and often thankless efforts in this forum.
While I mourn, I can't say I blame you for shutting it down. Cheers, Scrodzilla.

Please elaborate.
I am not good at swapping out a tube and tire. After crashing last year making a hard turn on wet pavement and sliding out on the painted stripes, crash, boom and my wrist got pretty messed up. Never had good hand strength from the start, and this put a huge damper on gaining more. Add in a deep wall carbon wheel and a tire that is already a struggle to get on, and you have me swearing and getting on the struggle bus in the driver seat. One bloody knuckle later, the tire and tube are off. When it was time to put them back on, all aboard!!! Struggle bus leaving in 5 minutes.

Well, at least for mounting tires, you can make it easy by using one of these:

today i rode 35 miles on the mr pink and set 8 PRs....on segments i've been riding for years. the only thing i can figure is that riding these heavy ass bikes that i've been on the last 3yrs somehow conditioned me and now this 25lb road bike feels like way less and seemingly hauls ass.
