Today I (v2):
you see that new All City Cosmic Stallion or whatever yesterday?
The external/internal cable routing capability caught my attention. Nice details for sure.

Bummer. Just curious about the laws there regarding insurance. Who covers that?
we'll see. neighbors insurance says they won't cover it because there was no property damage on her side. they won't even let her file a claim. she tried. so it's on my insurance company now to fight for me.

Interesting, and that sucks. I asked because last winter I discovered that Idaho law is lame too. A neighbor had a big pine fall and it crushed the (my) fence that borders our yards. The law says it's on me no matter where the tree came from. Even if his tree crushed my house, it's on me. Stupid.

today has been a long day. home and auto insurance claims have been filed. all on us. pretty much every law in every state says that a tree that falls into your house and/or car is YOUR problem, not the person that owns the tree. unless it was neglected and needed to be cut down (which this pecan tree was in good shape) i am liable for any damages caused. total bull**** but that's the way it goes. knows what's even more bull****? the same laws state that the pecans that grew on it- even on branches that were clearly on my property- belong to the neighbor because that's where the trunk is. trunk = ownership.....unless the tree caused damage to anyone else's property. there's a 14" hole in my roof, my gf's car is smashed and i'm about to be out a bunch of money for deductible(s).
i also drove my car for the first time in 8 months today....i'm about to go ride. see y'all later.
on the plus side, i just hit my 9th month of sobriety. kinda feel like having a drink.

tough luck johnnytheboy - when it rains, it pours! Sounds like you're not too bummed about it though.

Today I went out and did 22 miles. Couldn't really do much because it was hot as a ***** and I was dripping sweat like I just got out of the shower the whole time and all my water turned hot after like half an hour. Needed to ride these new tires though.

I hear ya!
Between a vacation last F-M, being busier than ever at work and having to pack up and move, I've barely ridden the past two weeks. Next two should be somewhat similar and then I'll finally be able to get back on the grind.
