Take training to next level?
What should be the first step to take training to next level.
Have been seeing results more on all A Events getting personal best times.
What would be the first thing to consider when wanting to improve and take training to next level?
I already do good endurance. and hard rides like intervals, maybe i could do more?
i am thinking eating more leaner, less fat? lose weight
what should i look into when wanting to up the training and improve more?

In most cases losing weight will improve performance but other than that, it's hard to say. Can you be more specific/quantitative in describing the "next level"?

Gain more speed as in top end? For example, if you can sprint to 45kph, you'd now like to break 50?
Or gain more speed as in you'd like to take 3' off your 40km TT time, for example?
Gain more endurance as in you'd like to ride a century? Or more endurance as in you'd like to improve your ability to surge, recover, surge?

I think what caloso is pointing out is that some of the things that you are interested in improving require different training methods and some of them are somewhat incompatible (lose weight & you may lose muscle which will make you slower on the flats). You would benefit the most from identifying specific weaknesses and priorities and then working out your training plan from there.
