Scott, please, please don't sue me, I know you already have enough hate that I'm selling it. It is one of the hardest to let go, but my last count of 27 bicycles really made me realize I've gotten seriously out of control... One rule for a vintage road bike keeper is it must be 63cm. Somehow I want to get down to 5.

By the way, I bought it from you 3 years ago! Time flies my friend.

For the folks nailing me to wall, yeah I know, I should have taken new photos etc. but with Scott's being so good, my serious lack of time, and the fact the bike hasn't changed one bit I went with it. Unfortunately eBay wouldn't allow me to link to Scott's website or I would have. Sadly, bids were already placed by the time I realized my lazy typos as well...

Brian, I just wish I could buy it back!! I've had to let go of some others in the past so I feel the pain. My Fuji Design Series for one. At least I know where it lives in NYC!

Not sure what kind of scam they're running but it's certainly a scam of some sort. I certainly wouldn't mind adding one of those to my Lemond Collection, though.

A Trek road bike that has to be ridden to be appreciated. This as all our used bike has just had a complete tune up including new tubes, rear tire and brake shoes. It's a 21" frame with Reynolds 531 tubing. This bike is in mint condition and will go fast.

early 80's ROSSIN Frameset 63cm
early 80's ROSSIN Frameset 63cm - $200 (roslindale)

Sweet old road frameset from Italian maker Rossin.
Campagnolo mirage Bottom Bracket, its smooth and tight, and Headset.
Reynolds Chrome-moly tubing
Seat tube 63 cm
Top tube 60 cm
Head tube 25.5cm
...so this bike is going to be good for a larger dude. Im 6' and its a bit big, rideable, but big.
From my research online it looks like this frame came out of florida's ten speed drive imports in '87-'88.
In great shape for its age, but still has normal road wear, scratches, spots with wear, etc, but no rust.
definitely an 80's color scheme! which people think is cool again for some reason...
Make me an offer.

Rare Vintage 1989 Giant Expedition Tourer quality handbuilt in Holland - lightweight 4130 chromoly steel touring frame, seamless drawn double-butted tubes.

Braze-ons for 2x water bottles, front and rear racks and fenders, RH chainstay loop protector, Shimano forged drop outs.
Shimano Deore Front and Rear long cage derailleurs
Shimano Deore Biopace Triple (28-38-48) Crank

Wolber Super Champion 700C Modele 58 alloy rims, stainless steel spokes, Shimano hubs, Shimano Exage trail cantilever brakes.

1985 Scwhinn Le Tour Luxa 18 speed tourer Cardiff leather seat 58cm
[h=2]1985 Scwhinn Le Tour Luxa 18 speed tourer Cardiff leather seat 58cm - $500 (Lowell)[/h]

condition: excellent

I have for sale a vintage Japanese made Scwhinn Le Tour Luxa 18 speed touring bike from 1985 when touring was the big fad. The bike has a 58cm Columbus Tenax steel frame, Suntour Mountech drive train, Dia Comp canti lever brakes, Sakae CX triple crank set and 27" Mallard alloy wheels. I personally road this bike and upgraded the following items, Cardiff leather saddle, Cardiff leather bar tape, Panaracer Pasela PT 27" touring tires, rear alloy rear rack, 2 water bottle cages and a underside mounted bike pump. I also custom made a chain stay protector for it out of twine then it was shellacked with several coats to offer durability and a classy look. I spent a lot of time riding this last summer on long hauls and it rides like a dream on or off the road. I just recently picked up a new main ride and its time now to thin the herd and this one I just don't ride enough to keep it. I've put a lot of money and time into this ride so my asking price is rather firm. The tires have one ride on them this year for 55 miles and over the year of owning the bike I re did all the cables, overhauled the wheels and the bottom bracket. Sold for cash pick up only. Please mention name, item, location and a phone number for a response all other emails will be considered spam. Thankspost id: 5197099928

19" Bridgestone RB-T - Lightweight, Shimano Triple, V-Brakes - $420 (Jamaica Plain)

condition: good
Shimano RX-100 3x7 Drivetrain. Shimano makes lots of great gear and shifting stuff, having three gears in the front means you can climb even the steepest hill. These are perfectly tuned, and are operated using bar-end shifters which are way more simple and comfortable than downtube shifters.

V-Brakes. Normally you would see road bike style "caliper brakes" on a bike like this, but this one has been updated to include V-Brakes more commonly seen on Mountain Bikes. They are very "stoppy" and much stronger than caliper brakes and better in wet weather or really any adverse conditions.

Water bottle cage, eyelets for racks an fenders, Rigida rims and Kenda tires, very comfy Avocet saddle, Cinelli bar tape, and again - a complete Shimano group.

Would've priced it higher but the front wheel is a little out of true (wobbles). Other than that this is a gorgeous Bridgestone. These are known for their high quality construction from Japan. This bike is a good investment piece and could take you across town daily or across the country on a fully loaded tour.

Thanks for checking it out!

Nice pick!! Though curious how the paint is under that riser kit. 90's retro. Filet brazed, nice mix of parts.
