I ride with a couple that having matching his and hers BMCs (well except hers is a 49cm and his is 60+cm). They are sweet rides... massive chain stays.

Well no ... the first bit is "De Vesten" which is cobblestones through the center of town and then over the marketplace and up the hill ... that bit isn't so hard ... the hardest part is the actual "Kapelmuur", which is just after a very sharp 90 degree turn and then 20% sharp cobblestones straight up ... I did stand there
It's not very long though, that hard part.

As of tomorrow morning, I will have a 2011 Trek/Gary Fisher Ion Super. I've actually heard very little reviews on the bike, but I was pretty amazed by the frame, and the okay components. Not to mention I got a killer deal on it. (saved over 600 bucks MSRP!!!). Picture will be up tomorrow. Cannnot.. cannot! wait to ride it.

That's an SL01 Roadracer, which was one step below the SLX01 up through 2010. Aluminum with carbon seatstays; it's been replaced by a full-carbon version. Neat bike with all that BMC style.

Just put it together. The stem is probably too long. Still getting it adjusted. Giantnerd had the frame and fork for $439.00 so I was able to complete the whole build with all new parts for less than $1100. Really happy with it so far.

I suppose I should post this here as well. Without further ado, I present you my new S2.

I'm not sure if I like it better than my SLC, but it doesn't have a crack in the top tube, and it was free. It's really starting to grow on me though. For reference, here is the fallen comrade:

I had the SLC down to 6020g, with lighter bars, and a few other parts. I really like these bars however despite the weight penalty. The new S2 weighed in at 6130 today, which makes me suspect it is about 20-30g more than the SLC. Hopefully they put it all in the top tube.

I built this up as my first roadie. I posted a pic couple months back but I changed a few things since then... new DA 9speed dt shifters, new R600 brake levers, and I found out earlier today there's a crack on the Forte fork (axle mount area). Good thing I found out, I was gonna ride it too! So I took it to Performance instead, and they replaced it for free and a free install also.
