Mine definitely didn't come with any spacers. Which Amazon listing did you see where it talked about spacers. Here's the exact one I ordered from Amazon. I don't see any mention of spacers. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00554174Y

Jesus Christ, people...stop using those ****ing spacers. If the cranks don't fit on your frame, using spacers will likely do more harm than good.

As I posted in freeplay's other thread:

Using spacers with a GXP BB will cause the non-drive side arm to require a lot more torque to bottom out properly on the spindle (if you can get it to bottom out at all, depending on the thickness of the spacer), putting excessive pressure on the bearings. You're not supposed to use spacers to overcome clearance or chainline issues.

Yeah I'm bumping this

Because I saw a 52 on Craigslist for $150 only rode on track a handful of times. Sold Grrrr, maybe that's ok at 5' 8-1/4" with a 30" book measured inseam I am confused on if I want a size 52 or 54. The biggest difference being in how aggressive I wish to ride.

Originally I wanted Moto Track. But then I ended up with Al. Synapse 105, and also a Gravity 29er Point2

Story is, I'm going to end up between Kendall and Homestead FL for a couple months. I either ship my Cannondale Synapse 2x, or buy a Fixie something and then leave it down there for next year.

My question is which is the better buy? Moto track or "the hour".... Fork is irrelevant, I'll be putting on my spare carbon C'dale premium slice. More than likely my 6600 calipers. I may just use my 6600 levers too for brake levers. Seeing how they are already on Cdale bars and wrapped. Yeah I totaled my 06 R1000 CAAD 8. 25 mph drift... Ran out of pavement hit turf sideways and folded the seat stays like an accordion. Whoops.

No difference in the bikes. Same price, both come with rear brakes right now. What color do you like ?

The track doesn't have logos/decals and The Hour does.. For me that would be the deciding factor

Well apparently I don't have a choice... It has to be silver. As that is my only choice for a 52 or 54

Very livable as this image is the same fork I have. https://www.pbase.com/image/40925602

Help!

Since the $150 used Hour sold on me and BD has none my size in stock.

should I do Moto track or Dawes sst Al. ?

I love Al., But I've never ridden steel. I've also never ridden SS/fixed. Well ok I rode SS once when everything on my 29er was frozen.

The Dawes sst al and moto track are same price. $280

Pros:
sst al has the brake levers I like.
Sst has 73/73 seat tube/head tube.
Sst has front & rear brakes

However seeing how I have on hand C'dale bars already wrapped with 6600 levers, stem, C'dale premium slice fork, and 6600 calipers. The Angles seem better for the sst for street riding. Yes most of my miles are road. Actually I could probably dump the entire 6600 group set for at least $280 or more.

So sell my stuff, buy the Dawes and ride it as is, maybe swap the fork and lose some weight.
Or buy the Moto Track use my C'dale bars& stem, ultegra brakes, C'dale fork. And rock a really light steel frame fixed gear?

I plan on using my Ritchey saddle and C'dale seat post on whatever bike I go with. And my SPD's although if I go dawes I could rock my road shoes Shimano pedals.

What would you do?

I guess I'll never know what steel feels like. The Dawes SST AL is mine come Monday. So off to the Dawes thread. for the same price as moto track and the hour. Cool!
