4 of us traveled together and stayed at people's homes sometimes. That was pretty cool, people having beds and stuff ready for cross country cyclists.

If I'm gonna get wet I prefer to go where there aren't any cars.

Old TV coughing up blood. Got a great deal locally (about $300 below current sale price on the TV I really wanted - cheaper than any online price before shipping). Picking up TV tomorrow.

They must have been desperate to sell something tonight.

I stopped at a coffee shop on the lake this morning to kill some time because I was super early for my interview. There was a railing next to the lake. It literally had sideways icicles on it. I'll try to upload the crappy cell phone pic I have, I really wished I had a real camera because it was so cool.

Got on the trainer for a little bit this morning. Don't know if that was such a good idea. Jeeze, muscles were tight, knee hurt bad, I felt horrible. But I'm hoping to get out and clear the mind with a long, early ride tomorrow.

Was it the guys on S. Main Street that seem to have great deals out of the back of their van?

Nah. It was the smaller "big box" store. You know, the one that doesn't have a Geek Squad.

Absolutely. Which is why getting back into it after 27 years is going to be equally ego crushing, mind numbing, and rewarding.

I nearly got run over by a Geek Squad repairman on Williston Road last week. I wasn't impressed.

North enough to have the roads covered in snow. Southern enough for no one to do anything about it. Rollers are kinda cool, but I don't want to be fit that badly.

Coach:

"Here are your HR zones. Ride in z3 for XX. I don't care about power numbers right now".

Take that power meter.

That's the best way to make sure you can have a hot meal when you eat at Doug's.
