You guys are forgetting Bo Diddly, Freddie King, Bugs Henderson, Clapton, Jeff Beck, and scores of others. I will say this though, back in his younger days before he made it on the national scene Stevie Ray was known to show up at little dive blues bars all around Dallas and just play for hours, literally until his fingers bled. He was a great showman.

I've seen everyone I listed play, and hands down the best show is Bugs Henderson.

Hang in there Subs. That which does not kill us either makes us stronger and/or commits a serious tactical error.

No kidding. When the frickin plow came by it rolled wet 3 foot boulders across everyone's driveway. Had to use a ice chipper to break them up before shoveling.

Well. Looks like I'll be able to race. But there's just some things going on.
I'll shake it off before the race.

We just passed Buffalo on annual snowfall. 73.4" and counting. Syracuse just passed the 100 inch mark.

Watching USA hockey. Leaving for our race in a couple hours.

Naval Academy this weekend. Why are we leaving decent weather for a snowy apocalypse? Because that's how the collegiate season works.

Driving up to Lago Vista tomorrow morning way before sunrise. Need to change the oil in my car. I got the tires fixed yesterday, new battery, etc... So I'm almost ready to go. I got my wheel back from the shop laced up nicely. Need to rotate the tires and put on a new chain, but shouldn't be a problem. Rode a bit too hard last night, easy 40 min spin today.

Sucks that you have to continually be prepared for the next "thing" to come up. Though I guess it would suck worse if you weren't. Hope things are OK.

I'm not sure what I was thinking. The roads are mostly plowed, but it doesn't look like they're digging any of those lots out.

Even dumber I start racing a week from tomorrow.

Doing lots of XC this weekend!

Not much but rain here, but 2-3' of snow up in the hills! Needs to be colder for better skiing though.

yeah, I'm looking at 9 days until the rubber rolls - my condition was fine until 3 weeks ago. I'll see how it goes, but I haven't been gaining recently.

Well, my Ortho guy wants to go in on the knee. I resisted. I go back in another month and we do the MRI we were going to do today. After that I guess we lock the door and see who comes out standing.

So it looks like I call my JRA over the last couple of months Base and I now head into some Super High Intensity Training and see how the knee and leg react. If it holds up I try and salvage the summer. If it goes bad, microfracture surgery and 2010, along with the last half of 2009 are a wash.

In other news, the insurance companies initial settlement offer is actually a little more than I had in the kid's car to begin with. I seem to have talked a good deal when buying it all those 8 months ago.

way too much. It would take an hour just to cut a 3/4 mile track. If I had a snowmobile maybe.
