Recovery Ride, 35 tss. Beginning of it saw a new rider I met last week going up Onyx. He told me that he wasn't feeling right, needed to eat, and pointed at his Garmin. 132 miles and he still had 10 miles to go with no lights (it was dark). Gave him the safest route home but worried he'd get creamed. Luckily he didn't. The guys only been cycling a few weeks and is doing 2-3 centuries (with elevation) a week, he's going to be a beast.

Oh, and called 911 (posted in other thread)

The roads are ****. I'll bike in anything if somebody asks me to, but I wouldn't ride outside today of my own volition.

I will, however, ski!

3 hours on XC skis. Drove to the preserve to ski for an hour with my wife, then she drove home and I backcountried it back to the house. Broke trail almost the whole way back, including down this bad boy. Conditions are still fantastic. A bit windy today.

12 hours on skis in the past week. My shoulders hurt!

went back to the hill where I snapped the chain.

tickled my all-time power from 1:30 ~ 4min.

It's been getting a little e-wangy in here lately, so 503w for 3:45 is the highlight there.

Honestly, you get used to it. If you can find a show that holds your interest the time goes by pretty quick.

4x10 around RPE FTP on the TT bike. First time ever riding a TT bike (no power meter on it). Need to work on that position, but it feels good.

I will give that result a booyah!
@Ygduf Taking the 504 watts and inputting the number into my Pursuit and power calculator for Velo Sports center. The results are very encouraging.

Last year's winner of the 35-39 3K pursuit at Masters Track Nationals in Redmond, WA was 3:38.250. Using an estimated CdA as a proxy, your time would be 3:33 for 3k. That assumes you could do a 23 second first lap, 250 meter track, from a standing start in 97 gear inches and then spin 115 rpm. That yields 17.3 second laps for the remaining laps and 32.3 mph.

We know that road power and track power do not correlate perfectly and the TT position is harder and etc. Having said that, it is still an excellent power for 3:45 and would serve you well on the national stage.
