Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

That is a very standard cup-and-cone bottom bracket. To remove it you need a lock ring spanner and a pin spanner to remove the lockring and the adjustable (non-drive side) cup. To remove the fixed (drive side) cup you need a fixed cup wrench.

Park and many other tool makers offer them. Here are the Park links:

https://www.parktool.com/product/cran...t-wrench-hcw-5 This is the lockring spanner

https://www.parktool.com/product/cran...t-wrench-hcw-4 This is both the fixed cup spanner and the pin spanner

If you are just going to remove the bottom bracket once and replace it with a different type , it's probably less expensive to have your bike shop remove it.

If you are going to just overhaul and regrease it, the fixed cup can be left in place unless it is damaged.

Note: Assuming your bottom bracket is English threaded like the one shown in your link, be aware the fixed cup is LEFT HAND threaded and removes by turning it clockwise.

Also fixed cups are often torqued in VERY tight and some method of clamping the fixed cup wrench in place is almost a necessity to prevent frame and hand damage if it slips.

Old-style bottom bracket tools are still the same. They were roughly the same worldwide until cartridge bottom brackets took over in the 1990's.

Did you try Wiggle?

Or St. Johns Street?

thanks guys. Bloody hell they are expensive. I didn't realise it would cost so much!
I think i'll go down to the bike shop and ask them to do it for a couple of quid.
Thanks again. Any other ideas are welcome.

If all you want is to remove it, you can use common tools. A pipe wrench or channel lock pliers will loosen the lockring. A simple pin spanner can be made with two nails and a piece of wood. Then a large adjustable wrench to remove the fixed cup. Don't forget the fixed cup is probably reversed threaded.

The lockring can be removed with a nail set and a hammer. If you don't want to reuse it.

The tools you are asking about will not work with your bottom bracket you have on ebay.

The investment in tools usually makes sense on the third or fourth job. On the first job, they rarely make financial sense... Welcome to the wonderful world of expensive bike specific tools.

+10 You don't have a modern Campy bb, so those tools are not what you need. The right tools are posted above. There are dozens of different bb tools. The lack of standardization on bicycles is frustrating (but great for tool makers).
