About the Di2 settings
Hi there
I've just pulled the trigger on an DI2 6870 / R785 upgrade for my all mechanical CX bike and I was wondering about the settings of Di2.
I can't find the answers for these questions anywhere. Anyone knows?

- Where are the settings for each component stored? In the component itself or in the junction, levers etc?
- Are one able to create a backup of the settings in the E-Tube software? Say you need to replace the RD, you take a backup, install the new RD, adjust the limiter screws, restore the backup and ride?

I'll answer myself.
1. Don't know this for sure, but I can't imagine other than each component keep its own settings.
2. You can for sure make a backup of the settings in the E-Tube software.
