Hello all- again apologies about the holdup. I've been trying to get this thing sealing up with little success; there is a lot of crap in there. I thought I had last week, but when I awoke, the box had burst open. I bought some stronger tape and will be trying again this week.

Thanks for the rec [MENTION=348967]J.Oxley[/MENTION], it may have to go that way but I was hoping not to scrap anything. Almost everything in there is usable from freewheels, old tools, to random bits. How does the crap community feel about a second, smaller box sent in addition to the main box that won't get circulated, but merely given out? The person getting it could be selected in some sort of random method.

I don't think there's ever been a BOC without some sort of borked crap in it, at least every time it's come my way there were a few things to chuck.

If you want to send another box out to someone, feel free. Right now all of that crap is yours, to do what you want with. Rule 5 sez "Do not remove crap to pass to somebody else", which I copied and pasted from previous Crapmasters. That's an extremely grey area rule, and should be changed to a suggestion. As long as you're replacing it with some good bits, I'm ok with it.

Just get that box a move on.

I always take out the worst and bulkiest crap. No-one is going to be sad about not getting a crack at the borked Alivio drive side crank with no ND mate. It's a box of crap, not a box of scrap. BOC karma comes from sending the box on with cooler stuff than when you received it. And of course having the box burst mid-journey would be very bad indeed.
