The TS-2.2 is from the Girl. She did a bunch of reading online, wound up here of course, decided this was the stand to buy once based on posts here, so that's kinda neat. She also got me some Marino wool shirts for riding.
Need to frame these:
And of course, I also got some socks with bikes on 'em. What would Christmas be without socks???
Oh yeah - some really good beer, too. Some from Belgium, some from Ct, some from elsewhere. That's bicycle related in my book.

[QUOTE=pcb;18425291]Best gift was one son stopping in from D.C. and the other one home from UMich.
Mine too, I sure am glad to see that I am not the only sap that likes to see his kid home for the holidays.
Not sure that I want in on this one.

Bike-related gifts Santa/me put under the tree were a pair of Cont GP4000SII/28mm tires (haven't ridden them yet, but 30.5mm+ on HED Belgium C2 rims, nice & puffy), and some gel bar wrap. Mostly just to even out the present count. Main gift was an Office Depot 9000-series desk chair, a lower-cost Herman Aeron rip-off. My tush likes the mesh. Sheesh...

I'm thinking Santa may have an account with Park Tools.
And my daughter knows my love of cooking and of tacos!

Yeah, they're welcome home anytime, but T'giving & Xmas are more special. At this point the youngest is still in college, the oldest still single, so no spouses/in-laws/etc to compete with. But that could change quickly, so we're enjoying the lack of competition.

Thanks for the tip and the offer. We didn't need anything hauled. You're probably still on your way back to Ann Arbor, hope you have a speedy and safe trip!
If you don't mind the drive down I-80, Qin Dynasty in Parsippany is better overall than Duck King. Best dim sum around too, no better in Queens.
Qin Dynasty - 209 Photos - Dim Sum - Parsippany, NJ - Reviews - Yelp
And if you need a bike hauled back this week to Ann Arbor, my SUV has space, leaving Saturday.

We brought the boys down to Costa Rica for two weeks.
My wife has her extended family there and we were able to spend Christmas and New Years with them for the first time in years.
No gifts, no packages this year.
Lots of love and laughs though.
Usually the laughs came from dad as I attempted to use my low quality Spanish skills on a daily basis.
