I have an ATAX one that's 70 mm long, if that's any help to you.

In search of Shimano Deore 7 speed thumb shifters- over bar style. Either XT or DX.

T-Mar 09-16-16 11:26 AM

ISO, Campagnolo, 32 hole, 10 speed compatible freehub. Prefer entry level. Must be in good condition. Also, Shimano, pre-Uniglide, boss style, freewheel remover.

Iowegian 09-16-16 12:19 PM

ISO 2-prong Suntour freewheel remover tool. Strongly prefer a Suntour branded one.

I have a pair of XT. The black top covers have faded to a sort of coffee brown but they otherwise seem to be fine.

I bought a cheapie on Ebay which broke about the second time I used it. I then got a Park, which cost a bit more but not all that much, and works great.

I broke the Suntour one at my local co-op, then one of the young guys there got the FW off with a Park tool. FW was fine but one of the tabs on the tool just snapped off. I'd like to replace the original Suntour tool but maybe they'd be better off with another Park...

ISO: rear axle for a 135mm rear. I'm attempting to save a frame that has a broken RD hangar, using a claw. The claw tends to pivot a bit without any axle sticking through, so I aim to try and fit a longer axle in there to "catch" it.

The claw!!

What would you do with a rear axle that big? I mean, who needs more than 6 sprockets on a freewheel anyway? :foo: ;)

That might just be the ticket, and eliminate the need for a longer axle.

That's an interesting piece. Keep us apprised if it works out for you as I'd be interested to see how versatile it is. Maybe I'll just get one to play around with...:foo:

Threading? Do axles actually come in 135? You may have to go longer and trim it

ISO: 650c rear wheel w/an 8/9/10 speed cassette compatible hub.

Going to upgrade the lady's 650c Centurion from the current 2 x 6 speed Exage group to a 9 speed brifter setup.

Have lots of Shimano components to trade, or can source what ya needs.

Billy,

There's a set of really nice 650c's on Ultegra hubs w/Open Pro rims here on CL. I can see what I can finagle.....

Hey, lady, good to hear from you.

I'm not sure what the axle length is, but I think some MTB's have an axle made for that 135mm rear width.

I just didn't want to showcase my ignorance. Busted.

An axle for a 135mm wheel would be 146mm total. You can get 'em easily. In fact, I've gone the other way and purchased used 135mm hubs and cut down the axles to use in my 126mm bikes. :thumb:

Thanks Robbie! That'd be the kind of quality set I'd be most interested in. Shipping can be a pain, but workable.

Let me know whatcha find :thumb:

I'm looking for some 32mm tires and can trade 28mm or 25mm tires.

hatrack71 09-22-16 08:35 AM

I am looking for an indexed Shimano 8 or 9 speed drop bar end shifter. Just the right side. An orphan SRAM or Microshift right side 8 or 9 speed shifter would also be fine. No need for the left front shifter. Anyone have an orphan to trade? Send me a PM and thanks.
